Hi, I'm Adé a very very curious product designer.

I'm a product designer based in Toronto, with 4+ years building products from zero at early-stage startups across Africa. I work across e-commerce, fintech, compliance, and enterprise B2B SaaS, designing the systems, flows, and interfaces that make complex things feel simple.

I trained as an engineer, so I've never really seen design and code as separate crafts. I'd rather solve real friction than polish pixels, and I care about how things actually work, not just how they look.

I have always been drawn to understanding how things work.

I studied Industrial & Production Engineering at the University of Ibadan, where I learned to approach problems with structure and curiosity. That has made me love the process of understanding how things work, why they fail, and how thoughtful decisions can make them better.

That curiosity led me to product design. Over the past four years, I've helped startups across fintech, compliance, and commerce create products that feel intuitive, scalable, and genuinely useful from an early-stage Techstars-backed data company to a platform that has powered over 520,000 ticket sales across six African markets.

Today, I combine systems thinking with modern AI-powered workflows to move from ideas to polished experiences quickly. I care deeply about the craft; the interactions, the words, and the tiny details that make technology feel human.

My current design process

Start with curiosity

Every product has a story before it has a screen.

The best ideas don't come from opening Figma—they come from understanding people. I want to know what they're trying to do, where they're getting stuck, and why this problem deserves to exist in the first place. That understanding becomes the foundation for every decision that follows.

Move while the idea is alive

AI helps me keep momentum.

I use AI as a creative partner, not a shortcut. It helps me explore possibilities, write, prototype, and challenge my own thinking while the spark is still there. Instead of getting lost in wireframes, I move quickly toward experiences that feel real enough to react to.

Craft until it feels inevitable

The details are where trust is built.

I believe great design disappears. Every interaction, transition, and piece of copy should feel so natural that people never have to think about it. That's the part I love most—refining a product until it feels obvious, even though getting there rarely is.

Off the clock.

You'll usually find me playing video games, on the tennis court, taking long walks with my husband, or creating content. Lately, I've also fallen in love with cooking there's something really satisfying about slowing down, trying new recipes, and making an ordinary evening feel a little more special.

I love building things, whether that's content, routines, or experiences that make life feel a bit lighter. I'm a big believer that the small things we do consistently matter far more than the occasional burst of motivation.
